The Best Party Brunch in NYC (Updated 2024)

In New York City, whether it’s 8pm or noon, there’s always opportunities to celebrate. And a classic New York City Brunch is by far my favorite way to party (some would call it an extreme sport, but I digress). Most of y’all know by now that party brunches are my annual celebration of choice for my birthday, so I’d call myself something of an expert. If like me, you are a big fan of day-drinking & dancing — and being in bed with Taco Bell by 9 pm — here are my favorite places for a really good time (aka boozy brunch party) in NYC.

Maison Close

When it comes to a party brunch, everyone has been asking where is the new Bagatelle? Well, if you’re looking to throw a killer party, while the sun is still out, look no further. They opened Summer 2022 and have made quite a splash on the NYC brunch scene with their sophisticated menu and glamorous parties.

Pappas

Known for its extravagant bottle presentations with confetti and sparklers and incredible DJ, Pappas will be a birthday brunch you won’t forget (or remember?)! The modern Greek brunch menu is great if you’re looking for something other than the traditional brunch options. And they’re also known for their very instagrammable martinis with the evil eye emoji floating on top!

P.S. if you saw my birthday celebrations at Jue Lan Club or Zavo over the last few years, this is the best place to recreate that vibe!

Kyma

Located in both Flatiron and Hudson Yards, this Greek inspired restaurant is a must go! Every Sunday, they have a bottomless brunch until 3 pm with a DJ, sparklers, and yes, even a traditional Greek drummer. The food is solid with enough options for everyone, the music is lively, and the vibes are amazing. You really can’t go wrong!

Felix

Felix has to be my absolute favorite summer brunch spot in NYC. You’ve truly not experienced brunch in NYC until you’ve done a Felix brunch. Felix is located in the heart of Soho, on the corner of West Broadway and Grand. The cozy space features all glass windows that open, so you’ll often find the party spilling out onto the street. It’s less about the frills, and more about the party — which is exactly what you need sometimes. BUT you don’t want to miss the giant 6 liter bottle of Rose, especially if you’re celebrating your birthday. So grab a group of friends to down the bottle and party well into the night with.

Le Bilboquet

Credited with starting the New York City brunch scene, it’s no surprise that Le Bilboquet throws one of the best DJ brunch parties in NYC! Get ready for an upscale, European-vibed brunch. Perfect for birthday or to celebrate any other special occasion.

Harbor NYC

This new rooftop restaurant has a retractable glass roof, allowing you to enjoy the views of the city and the Hudson River all year round! They offer a two course brunch menu, with a choice of 6 options for each course. Although the music is so good, you may not even have time to eat. Now that Bagatelle in Meatpacking has shut its doors (RIP), Harbor is the new place to get the full bottle parade experience. And for all you hookah lovers out there, you can even order some hookah. It’s the perfect place to celebrate a birthday, take it from me!

Lamia’s Fish Market

Lamia’s Fish Market is probably the most affordable of the list! For only $39 per person, you get unlimited cocktails for 90 minutes along with an entree. Their pancakes are actually really good! They also have great music and serve bottles with sparklers to get the party vibe going. It can be hit or miss with the crowd/party vibes, but at $39, you can’t go wrong!

Hotel Chantelle

What better way to spend a summer weekend, then eating truffle mac & cheese and sipping cocktails at this rooftop restaurant. They offer a pre-fixe brunch menu which includes bottomless drinks or the a la carte menu. The Breakfast Pizza is also a must-try here, and I’m excited to see so many new vegan additions to their brunch menu!

iL Bastardo

If you’re looking for nightclub meets brunch, il Bastardo is the perfect place for you! They offer a pre-fixe menu all day Saturday and Sunday, but be sure to snag a reservation as spots will fill up quickly.

Sons of Essex

Sons of Essex offers a great American-style brunch with hip hop and Top 40 music from their curated lineup of DJs. Get ready for an over-the-top brunch with great music, and keep the party going in the PIT area/dance floor after your 90 minute table seating is complete!

Rebel Cafe

Calling all Brooklynites!! Rebel Cafe is the perfect insta-worthy brunch spot! While I wish they had a few more vegetarian and vegan options for their main course, the rose garden vibes more than make up for the slight lack of veggie-friendly brunch options.

Bollywood Boozy Brunch

I obviously couldn’t make a list about boozy brunch in NYC without including a Bollywood Brunch spot. My two favorite Bollywood brunches are Baar Baar & Madamji

SONA Drag Brunch

Ever thought you’d be able to attend a drag brunch at a stunning, upscale Indian restaurant? Well now, thanks to SONA, you can! The drag brunch at Sona is truly a treat, and it’s actually family friendly too. Bring your friends and family out for a great meal, and an even better party.

I hope this makes planning your next brunch celebration a little bit easier. Stay boozy, y’all! xo
