The Best Vineyards In Driving Distance of NYC

It’s officially fall, the time where there’s an excuse to put pumpkin flavoring in basically anything! What better way to enjoy the incredible weather than by enjoying some of my favorite wineries in New York.

Benmarl

Benmarl is near the Hudson River Valley which is at most an hour and a half outside of NYC. For all my Merlot lovers, Ben Marl is the best spot for you. And the best part? Ben Marl offers incredible wood fired pizza in their outdoor brick oven to pair with your amazing wine.

Wolffer Estate

This is my favorite vineyard in New York! Wolffer Estate is a gorgeous winery located in the Hamptons. Every time I visit in the summer, I buy a case of their rose because it’s just that good! Try your luck at making a reservation at the estate, but if you can’t snag a rezzie, grab a picnic blanket and drive around the corner to The Last Stand. It’s the perfect place to watch the sunset with great wine and live music.

Millbrook Vineyard

Located just two hours outside of New York City is Millbrook Vineyard. It’s an incredible escape from the city, and feels like the French countryside. And to top it all off, they are known for their Chardonnay!

Rooftop Reds

While it’s great to get out of the city, that’s not always possible. Rooftop reds is one of the only vineyards located in New York City! They have a massive roof top with great skyline views and tons of fantastic wines on tap. Also, they developed their own planting system in the building which allows them to grow the grapes on the premises!

Macari Vineyards

Macari vineyards, which is located in North Fork Long Island, not only has a great wine selection but a gorgeous waterfront view. This is a perfect vineyard to visit even on the chillier days as you can enjoy their wines in a private heated tent.

Pindar Vineyards

Pindar Vineyard is about 3 hours outside of New York City. They have a great selection of wines -- and as an additional plus they are actively working to reduce their carbon footprint in the production process. P.S. They also have the most beautiful sunflowers at the property -- which is definitely a plus!

Happy sipping, babes!!
